How long have you been trying this?

Over a year. Longest I abstained was two months. I've only just this past month resorted to actually discussing it and starting this thread. The reason this porn things runs so deep is I've looked at (digital, online) porn since about the age of 16. Other things in my life I did for a few years and so quitting was easy, but porn has established itself in my life as a kind of combination between habit & addiction.

He slipped, fell, opened up the browser...happens, man.

Earlier this week saw a thread here with a girl who looked like a pornstar.
I came home late over the weekend and saw the pic again while browsing on my phone.
Googled the pornstar it looks like...told myself I'd just look at a pic of her just to see how much alike they looked.
Then another pic.
Then a video.
etc.

Have you tried a hard reset? That is, no porn and no masturbation for a couple of weeks? Helped me kick my addiction last year, although the reset wasn't voluntarily induced.

Yeah - it felt [-]harder[/-] more difficult dealing with both those things at the same time.

Hmmm.

The hard reset lasted around a month, no PMO or MO. This was around October last year. Since then I watched pron about thrice, for different reasons than before. Right now the frequency of MO is around 1-3 weeks.
