wtf is this nonsense where many are so swept up in the hype and believing there is a non-zero chance of ramalama resigning?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

I mean I'll give it 0.1% chance because you never know, but anyone who has been paying attention to ANC tactics and the sordid tale of a complete thief like Zuma never even being impeached nor did he resign until the ANC told him to ... anyone would be batshyte crazy to think a resignation is at all going to happen at this point in time

that is simply not how the thieves guild otherwise known as the ANC works

He sold some cows, everyone knows he collects Buffalos. $500k is like .01% of his wealth so its not even a rounding error?

I'm confused why anyone cares that a billionaire has cash?
The following points were raised in the report (from the article at (https://www.dailymaverick.co.za/art...ical-life-anc-options-are-bad-worse-terrible/).

While I do support Ramaphosa staying on for the short term because the alternatives are worse, I strongly believe he has done something illegal and should be investigated.
  1. There is no evidence as to how this money came into the Republic;
  2. The exact amount of foreign currency stolen is yet to be disclosed;
  3. The investigation by the SARB suggests strongly that it had no records of this money entering this country or being reported as having been received;
  4. Other than his name, there are no other particulars of Mr Hazim such as his physical address, telephone numbers, business address and other personal details such as his passport number;
  5. Having bought 20 buffaloes, Mr Hazim has not collected these buffaloes for the past two and a half years;
  6. Instead of keeping the money in the safe until the next banking day, the money is kept concealed in a sofa for well over a month;
  7. The theft of the money was not reported to the SAPS and no case number or docket is registered;
  8. Information placed before the panel suggests that more than$580,000 was stolen; and
  9. Suspects were arrested, interrogated and cooperated with the investigating team and yet no one is charged, prosecuted and convicted. This occurs amid allegations that the suspects were paid R150,000 each to buy their silence.

Cyril is no saint, in fact he is the leader of the biggest criminal organization every to operate in South Africa but I think he is one of nicer ones.

I am more scared of who will replace him than having him as president. If we get a "RET" president our country will be doomed.
