Sad to think about it, but Zuma is winning, and with his side back in power he will be Phala-free. The state capture reports will be for the rubbish bin, and a bow out of the arms deal saga will be in order. If Ramaphosa falls, how long until Zondo falls?

To be honest, I don't like the end of the New Dawn a single bit.

Regardless of who wins between squirrel and zuma you should be making your plans. If you do, it doesn't matter who comes out ahead, you'll come out ahead

Maybe it is a good time for me to leave the discussion of social, economic and politics on this board, it is better for the mind. That is the best plan, but for my well-being in this country I am not all too concerned though I would have appreciated justice to prevail.

/Off to the gaming threads

When will they stop with these doom and gloom articles and smearing it in everyone's faces? How does this fall under Broadband and IT news?

All about the clicks.

Also I wouldn’t call the presidents potential resignation a “doom and gloom” moment.

Cyril is no saint, in fact he is the leader of the biggest criminal organization every to operate in South Africa but I think he is one of nicer ones.

I am more scared of who will replace him than having him as president. If we get a "RET" president our country will be doomed.
We've already had one of those...

If he resigns it's not good. He still has some rationality of being a human being. I dont think the person that replaces him will be a human rights fan. #justsayin

On Wednesday, an advisory panel established by parliament found grounds for lawmakers to consider impeaching Ramaphosa, an icon of the anti-apartheid struggle, over his alleged failure to properly report a robbery at his game farm — during which he says $580,000 hidden in a sofa were stolen — and potential violations of the constitution.

I would much rather have a man that failed to report a crime than David Mabuza.. with DM as president, you’ll beg Zuma to come back

Yep...I really hope Ramaphosa stays...all other options are worse..

Ramaphosa considering his options — Presidency

President Cyril Ramaphosa has not resigned, nor did he address the nation on Thursday evening.

Presidential Spokesperson Vincent Magwenya addressed the media in a short briefing, saying Ramaphosa was still considering the independent panel’s report into the Phala Phala scandal.
You reckon someone else from the ANC will replace this chap? If so, why is this news? lol

He sold some cows, everyone knows he collects Buffalos. $500k is like .01% of his wealth so its not even a rounding error?

I'm confused why anyone cares that a billionaire has cash?
We mortals are subject to exchange controls, holding dollars in cash in SA is illegal
