I'm not. Fracking useless organization that, and to add insult to injury we're prolly gonna have to subsidise the over & above head count.

Because as CWU, the utterances such as ‘early retirement’, ‘voluntary severance packages’ and ‘reducing headcount’ to us in the trade union movement language simply means retrenchment.

At a normal company that would simply mean they'd go out of business and everyone would lose their job. Unfortunately when it's a government entity they decide not to run it as at least a break even business. But if the massive intelligence levels demonstrated by the CWU leadership are typical of their membership, then the SABC must be a large janitorial organisation. Best to redeploy the staff to clean toilets.
