Hi,

Being capped I realised one of the problems with Telkom ADSL: There is no transparency on what is meant by "slower international bandwidth" or whatever they claim in their adverts.

If Telkom was transparent, I guess nobody would have had reason to complain. But now we all have to guess how bad it is.

My guess: Telkom will fight any attempt to be transparent on this issue!

Hi Kaspaas

I see that their new services does not have this "slower international bandwidth", but rather no service. I think the reason is because of the lack of transparancy regarding this term. We all know it means "basically no international bandwidth", but they will have to define the services to explain their services (ie contention ratios, supplied BW etc.) and I dont see this happening before ICASA forces them to do so...

Regards,
