No WOTLK CE in SA

I've stopped this game, but my brother (whos taken over my account) hasn't...

I pre-ordered the CE for him beginning of this month. I just received this:

Sadly we have had to admit defeat. Due to the limited number of collectors editions worldwide and what seems to be a major misunderstanding of our local market, Blizzard has neglected to allocate the Collectors edition for South Africa. Not even 1!!. So with a bitter taste left over from a very dramatic tantrum we have been left with no alternative but to say we sorry we really tried our best!!! Additionally the number of units coming into South Africa on the Standard edition are exceptionally limited, you however do not have to worry as your copy/ies are secured. If you however feel that you no longer wish to pre-order, please advise so that we may open the stock up to other very desperate WOW fanatics

Luckily i did not order a collectors edition but yep this truly does suck....

I guess later on we will receive the collectors addition maybe a month from now?? who knows....

We are too small a fan base to warrant a large amount of copies for sa :(
 
I respect BTs enthusiasm. If blizzard wanna ignore us, so be it. But i really appreciate BTs attitude towards delivering gaming titles.
and No I dont work for them :P
 
Mother living in the UK ftw. same happend with the TBC, but i had to buy it from there.

CE from UK might be an option but with the current exchange rate, its going to be an expensive excercise...
 
BT are actually bloody useless imo. I really dont think Blizz distributes the copies eh? I think BT screwed it up.

Also a rant about em, my fiance goes in the east rand mall to put our pre-orders in, tells the little pizza-faced twit behind the counter she like to pre-order 2 copies and he says to her infront of the whole store "dont you have anything better to waste your life on" WTF?!?

The guy behind her asks this guy for a copy of it also and says to the guy what does he waste his life on, he says "drinking". Fark I woulda slapped him was i there.

Rant over, sorry.

indeed. i am tempted to push that thread till someone cracks and sends me a CE copy...
