I'm not sure if this is in the correct section.

I'm looking for full over the ear headphones - bluetooth that are good quality, but most importantly, I need these headphones to cancel out ALL outside noise.

I live in a house with noisy idiots and really need a pair of headphones that is going to cancel out these morons when they make a noise. Talking, doors closing loudly etc

What am I looking at here? R2k for a pair?

Anyone who has purchased headphones like these and can vouch for a brand / model / supplier?

Please man

I cannot recommend anything for that price. Unless you can find a pair of Sony XM3's second hand.

Check this out on takealot: Sennheiser HD 4.50 BTNC Headphones

Keep an eye on these, they frequently come on special at 1899

Didn’t believe in noise cancelling actually working.

I got a pair of the Bose Quiet Comfort 32 ii, expensive but they work surprisingly well.

I work in an open plan office and cant hear any noise.

My opinion is you pay for quality so might be worth spending a little more.

Got a pair of these. They can silence the neighbor's dachshund and jack russel.

I have both the and while the Sennheisers are great , if you can stretch to the Sony XM3 do it. Even better ANC but for me they are far more comfortable. You can wear them all day, even if you wear glasses which I cannot do with the Senheisers

For your budget, you're best off with the Sennheiser HD 4.50 BTNC Headphones.

If you can stretch the budget and not too worried about the mic quality when making phone calls, then the Sony 1000 XM3 is the way to go.

I got myself a pair of Sony's XM3's that were on special and they work pretty fantastic. I even use them when running the petrol snow plow outside - as well as when I'm testing 2MVA generators which are, to put it mildly, loud AF.

Its got great ambient noise cancelling and you can deactivate it with the push of a button, or temporarily just by covering the ear with your hand.

So far every reviewer says its the only set that's been able to give Bose a run for their money and it has really decent battery life. That said, it's not cheap - so look out for specials.

The mic isn't amazing, but decent enough for phone calls.

Agree with you. I am using Sony XM3 now and I can say that they have built great headphones based on noise-canceling technology.

Anyone replace their foam earmuffs or pads on their over ear pair? My Bose QC35 II are starting to take a hammering

Saw these but have never purchased from them before

Would generally try to avoid Pclinkshop. If you're going to get some third party replacements then I would just get some from Amazon, order 2 sets then you have another backup too.

Aliexpress sell many different types for less than $5. You should be able to get a coupon to cover most of the cost if this is your first purchase. Post again if you find anything of interest and I can send you a referral code which should give you $24 worth of free coupons.

Shipping is stupid expensive though (if you actually want to get the item), way cheaper with Amazon.

Personally I would use a coupon and then choose one of the cheap shipping options and hope that it arrives via the SAPO. Some sellers might offer delivery via Yanwen which usually uses Buffalo Express but you would have to contact them first to see if that is available.
