Hi

Guys

my pc is very noisey how can i make it less noisey, running a few fans, ie graphics card 9600 has it own fan, psu fan, cpu fan and one fan on side of case, running stock fans that came with the case, and components, how can i make them quieter???

Thanks

U get daming kits for fans and that works pretty well also keeping your case close will help lessen the noise... or u can go buy quieter fans.

case is closed, ok what types of fan??? links perhaps have no idea what to get???

start at Prophecy or DigitalAddiction and read what they have maybe ?

Stock fans - unless you buy a expensive case are generally noisy little critters. Try identify which fans are the culprits and then see if you can replace them...You can get silent CPU and Case fans, graphics may be a bit more of a mission but im sure you can replace the stock cooler with a ultra silent Zalman or something.

can u recommend any fans for cpu, my mb and cpu is in the signature.

Grim ..... does replacing case fans make much diff or is it only slight?

LOL It depends on how noisy your fans are now...

think I could find less noise at Blue Lagoon :D only thing that calms down the noise factor is placing something heavy against the case on either side ... seems to stop the vibrating :D

haha THAT bad hey?
you should try cusioning your fans with rubber washers or something, btwn the case & fan.
also mount your optical drives & hdd's with 4 screws, two on either side.

what also helps is cable-tying your wiring together, so that they're quite taut and not touching the sides or bottom of your case

Hee hee me too... Serves me right for buying a cheapy no-name piece of crap.
PC sounded like their was an airport running in there

Best way to find out is to disconnect them and see if the noise level drops, if so you could get a quieter fan.

If i disconnect my case fan there is a huge difference, thus i am going to buy a quieter one. ;)
