Noisy Cisco 1900 Router

Good day Chaps

I'm using a 1921 router for my vdsl with hwic card, but the router fan is very loud.

Anyone have an idea to get a quiter fan which has 4 pins (black, blue, yellow and red) whihc controls the temp if it runs hotter or cooler.

Or maybe do a mod to bring the noise level down. any help would be appreciated, i'm in cpt though.

There is no other place to put the router, i was thinking of putting it above the ceiling, but scared of fires issues.

Not clear whether it was noisy new or became noisy over the time. The easiest way is to buy a new fan. If it is expensive, then with little efforts you can clean bearings. Don't use cleaning spray, it won't work for long. You must open it and remove rotor for cleaning.
