What do u guys think of it. its a nice simple phone and i can use mxit which is good. i am getting it next friday

It's very old, "black & white" screen, has no GPRS, and no you can't use MXit on it.

Just been on the mxit forum and mxit does infact work on the 3110

Thank you so much haha. Its the only decent phone that was free on my top up 75. I was going to go for the Samsung D900i but I didnt really feel like paying in R1200 for it on my choice top up

Off topic (well, sorta) but the Nokia 6300 is a beautiful phone... I have one.
It's stylish (looks business like) as well as functional, the buttons are just the right size, the display is big, has a nice camera, can run stuff like mxit, gmail appy etc...
Check this phone out... consider it! It'll do you more justice than that other phone.
AND BTW: The Nokia 3310 might be a classic but it's a damn good phone! and it sells for (new) about R200

PS. Safferbeauty, Vodacom are to release their new package + phone combination specials on the 6th of February, so it'd be better to wait until then.

Mom as one and she loves it. Then again she was happy with a 8310 not so long ago. It is a nice no frills phone though.

That is true yes - But I'd rather go for a ... 2600 or something to give to a young child. Or the Cheapest one I can lay my hands on really.

i am on mtn and want 2 stay with them. if i go 2 vodacom i would only be able get a contract with them in july. its a lot of hassel tho then would have 2 get 3 months bank statements. 2 much of a hassel

it ok. vodacom seem 2 have a stronger signal out here but i believe telskum own 50 percent of the shares so wont support them
