Hey its all up to you :) I have had this screen protector for previous phones and its simply the best. I will be protecting my screen in the best and easiest way I know how to. Google Martin fields a bit and see what you come up with ;)

if the shops would get stock of the screen protectors and cases we wouldn't need to take extreme measures! one shop told me they would probably get some in "a couple of months"!:eek: by that time my shiny new phone won't be so shiny any more! :mad:
 
It irritates me that the phone is so new and there not a lot of 3rd party apps available for S60 v.5 yet!
 
Come on guys this phone can't be THAT good! so little irratates it seems. come on the resistive touchscreen surely can't be all milk and honey! Anyway I've signed on the dotted line and should hear from the shop 2mo.. they have one left for me so lets hope I can play with my new toy this weekend. Ill give an honest unbias non-fanboi mini overview asap becuz ur all acting like a bunch of boyband members!

I think if everything works(as it should) then this phone is a real thing of beauty. Now I only hope for loads more FREEWARE applications as it seems a bit lacking in this department ATM.
 
another irritating thing is the movie\video converter ...it takes about an 1 and a half hours just to convert about 800mb... if anyone know about a core player (movie player that plays all formats) then please let me know or post it here...i have yet to find a core player for this phone ...
 
I've spend the weekend with my new baby. There's not alot that i dislike about the phone one or two things. The CPU could be faster dont get me wrong the phone is not slow at all it never struggles to keep up, but still there are faster cpu's out there in HTC's for example granted even with their faster cpu's they're still slower than the 5800. But just to tell my friends that my phone's cpu is faster than theirs :p But that would increase the price of the phone which is a no go as the price is amazing.

Another thing... no auto complete, winMO does this well i type b-a-s and it jumps to bastard. One other thing scrolling could be better also tapping twice sometimes and only once others is irratating not majorly though. Always tap twice or always tap once make up your mind nokia i understand that when you are in an APP the app deceides how tapping works but when u use the phone's UI it should be the same through out. More swipes please i like swiping and this phone doesnt do much of it.

Otherwise its perfect much better than the iphone cause it does everything a smart phone should do natively: copy/paste, mms, video record, 3G calls, voice navagate, office document editing, file browser, mass storage and everything else the iphone cant. Iphone has the swipes in leaps and bounds but what good is a swipe when you cant perform the basics. Dont get me started on winMO seriously it has to die.

The "Tap Once" and "Tap Twice" problem.

This is not really a problem. Everyone, or mostly everyone, is complaining about this.

"Tap Once" = Selects the icon/file
"Tap Twice" = Open/Run the file

If a icon or file is already highlighted then you "Tap Once" to open or run it.
If a icon or file is not highlighted then you "Tap Twice" to open or run it.

That should be easy enough to understand.;)

Javs....what specs are your comp cause that sound very slow to me...?

my pc seems fine...2.5 gigs of ram, cpu amd 5000+ dual core, 450w psu ...
i got 2 hdd installed and dvd writer and a few apps installed running of xp
maybe i should clear up some space on my c drive and then try ...on about 8 gigs spare at the moment ...
 
another thing that really irritates me is the flash apps ...not much java apps ATM ...i hate these flash apps! most of them are a waste of time...opera mini on flash is a joke! but the java version isn't released as yet for the 5800! grrrrrrrrrrrrrr! gonna try BOLT on java tonight..
 
Guys something thats starting to get on my nerves is the pouch that comes with the phone. Its hard to get the phone out to answer a call and that pouch sqeezes the living daylights out of the phone i'm afraid it might break something, any suggestions?
