5800 Reader

Now i just need to find a good e-book reader and i can mothball my Ipod Touch :)

There are currently a few S60v5 e-book readers available for consideration:

iSilo have released a version which you can try for free for 30 days, thereafter you must buy to maintain all the functions ($20). A nice reader but...

There is also TEQUILACAT, AnyView and ZXStyles. I have tried a few and like ZXStyles best though it was a little tricky to install as most of the online help is in Russian. There are some English forums however and that's where I got the setup tips from. It has an English menu and it is an excellent reader once set up. It only reads document types txt or FB2 but you can get good converters at processtext.com.

I just installed firmware v30.0.011 OTA on MTN. 4.3MB download. No problems so far, but no visual changes either.

one thing i m must say about this phone is although it has a few irritations its not as irritating as my old phone(n73) i used to have to restart my n73 weekly(almost every second day sometimes) cause it would not run the programs lekker and would have leaky memory.

mine says 17313kb ... ain't that about 17mb ? btw i'm still on version 10...so the extra mb's could be the other updates as well ???

Remind me again - does OTA update clear all your settings and data aka full backup & restore after update?

thanks ...i'll pop in my virgin prepaid later and download it

Also updated, don't notice any changes except the phone seems a bit faster. Anybody else notice any changes?

How long do you think it'll take for the updated firmware to be released on Vodacom's network!?
