Yes - but it costs.Hi All
Me again....is it possible to load Garmin MobileXT on my 5800 music edition? Don't fancy OVI maps
Thanks!

That's for the CD. You have to pay to activate it. Around R1000 if I remember correctly.Any idea on the costs? I believe the CD cost about R10 at Cape UM

There are other ways, but you'd have to search for them.
What's wrong with OVI Maps then?
You have to be exact when you enter your destination...... requires the suburb name as well.
Sometimes to cope with the crap search on Ovi Maps, I open up Google Maps and do the search there so I can see where the place is.
Then I switch back to Ovi Maps and manually select that spot on the map.
I think Ovi and Google Maps share favourites if I recall correctly.
I believe they used to in old versions but not any more. I just did a quick test and my starred item in Google Maps did not show under my Ovi Maps favourites. It's a bummer because it would be very helpful.
Guys, when using Ovi maps, the GPS signal whatever, does it cost money?
Only if you go online, but this can be changed in the options, using just GPS is free (except the battery used) but Assisted-GPS is the one that costs as it connects to the net

Yeah but I see kit download like 70KB etc. Do they charge me for this? Or is the GPS data free?
