Nokia 5800XM accessories..

What would the best price/performance carry case be?

Does one go for the official Nokia one, or something like the Proporta?

Or maybe the Krusell?

Besides just acting as a cover, I'd prefer the carry case to have some sort of sponge. So as to absorb any little bumps...

Dunno, maybe I'm paranoid. Personally - I prefer careful.


Any other recommendations? Such as car clip units - to let us use the GPS functionality? etc.

I think the best would be one that keeps is free from humidity. Despite a lot of issues with the 5800 it seems the speaker-goes-bust because of humidity is the most serious problem.

Did you post this in EVERY 5800 thread..? Lol The way I read it the manufacturer of the original speakers were all faulty and would fail eventually. All units manufactured before feb contain the faulty speaker units. Since the manufacturer of the speaker has been replaced there seems to be less of a problem.

The free Nokia case is cool. As for humidity- I went a jollin' the other night, and returned to find the whole screen covered in condensation/perspiration. This must have come through the perforated cover. I had a big night, with phone in pocket but c'mon- the amount of moisture on the screen was a bit scary

Can anyone reccomend a good stereo bluetooth headset? I want to use the nokia for gym so it must be something sturdy, preferably with mic too so i can take calls... Any suggestions?

Jabra BT3030 is pretty cool with its dogtag style, built in mic and 3.5" jack so that you can use your headphones of choice.
