Is the maping free on this phone?
The maps are free to download, but once the turn by turn navigation has expired, you need to pay at least R900 to Nokia for a new license. The older stock had a license for 6 months. New lasts 2 yrs.

The phone is also compatible with Garmin Mobile XT satnav.
