Nokia 7210 Supernova GPRS Settings

Hey all,

Just got this phone (see Title) and I can't set my Web/MMS settings. I've tried the *147# feature, but it doesn't do bugger all.

Anyone on Cell C with this phone that can please give me their Access Point information and how to add it? I can't seem to figure it out and the manual is useless :'(

Just called 140, got through to some woman - who, after taking my details, told me that she can't help me because I'm on a contract; is it so difficult to send the push message? :'(

This is from the sticky in this forum, you need to however be activated for GPRS/MMS for these settings to work.

For new phones not yet configured on the Cell C system, I normally send a *147# this activates the number on GPRS reset the phone and then configure with the settings below manually. This normally works perfectly.

Profile name: Smartdata GPRS/EDGE
Homepage: http://www.cellc.co.za/wap
I.P. Address: 196.031.116.250
Samsung Port: 8080
All Other Port: 9201
APN: internet
Connection Type: Non-Secure (not all Phones)
Username: Leave Blank
Password: Leave Blank

MMS Settings

Profile name: Cell C MMS
Server URL: http://mms.cmobile.co.za/
I.P. Address: 196.031.116.250
Samsung Port: 8080
All Other Port: 9201
APN: mms
Username: Leave Blank
Password: Leave Blank
