Nokia 9300 software upgrade

Hi,

I want to upgrade the software on my phone. I went to our MTN dealer in Ermelo but they say it is only available for contract customers and I am prepaid. I said to them I am prepared to pay for it, but so far I have no answer. I understood from other threads that Nokia can do it, I've also checked out to do it over the net but the Nokia 9300 is not supported.
Does anyone have more information about where I can get it done even if I had to be a couple days without my phone and carry my heavy laptop with me.

Well let's see if you give me the name of the dealer in Ermelo then I'll try and get hold of my Channel Manager for Indirect Sales and I'll see if he can arrange that the dealer send's your phone up to Nokia warehouse, I'll also see if I can arrange it free of charge but I can't promise anything

Where to go?

Thank you for the fast replies. I went to the other MTN dealer which has been very helpfull. They will do for me at a cost of not more than R185.00 It will take 2 weeks. Since I will be in Jo'burg for a while soon. Isn't there a place that can do it a bit quicker than 2 weeks?

I am looking for a MTN Nokia Service center in JHB so that I can contact them. Would like to take it in myself to see if I can get it done sooner than 2 weeks. Do you have contact no for me please :o

Where could i get my 9300 upgraded, ive been a MTN customer for over 10yrs and find it rediculous to pay for new software :confused:

I'm not sure bro, my best suggestion is call Nokia woodmead and ask them if there's a place in Durban you can take your phone

Strange because I asked my local MTN in CapeTown and they said they cant upgrade my 9300's software???

:confused:
 
It was MTN Century City Western Cape

MTNDD could you clear up what I am entitled too being a customer of MT
MTN since 1994, what costs are involved in software upgrades etc, and


and is MTN Century City able to do software upgrades???
