I have seen both these phones listed as coming soon! Anyone got better info. My contract is already overdue for an upgrade and my current phone is giving hassels.:confused:
 
OMG!!!Thanks to OP :) I love the E52...that is my next phone without a doubt. Only $330 and its got all the features I want (including it being a nokia :P)!My brother had the e51 and I was always so jealous because his phone was way cheaper than mine but it lasted longer than mine and has everything I need. So if anyone spots a contract with this puppy let me know! Wow I'm sounding like an idiot cuz im so excited...
 
I'm also waiting for the E52. I love my E51, I'd buy another brand new one today to keep as a spare if I could. E52 should be made available from 1st week September I hear.

Awesome...I need a contract asap!Burning through so much cash monthly cuz of stupid pre-paid. I dont understand how it costs R2/min to call someone. And my current phone can't take fring/skype so I really need the e52 :P
 
Nope, I've also seen it at Autopage, but I wouldn't touch them either.
Where the hell is this E52?
 
The e52 is the gonna be Nokia's new killer phone...its relatively cheap and has amazing features. I'm holding out on a contract until I can get it.

My contract was available for upgrade on 14th of this month...I'm firmly waiting for the E52 before I resign!

With who do you want to get a contract?

I'm not sure which SP to choose either. Leaning heavily towards a vodacom one after hearing all the MTN billing problems...
 
I'm currently on Vodacom, been through all of them over the years.
Started with Vodacom back in 1995. MTN after a few years. Finally to CellC when they launched due to the promise of cheaper rates. Returned to Vodacom 2 years ago and am very happy with them.

Out of interests sake, all the Vodacom 'deals' currently out have been valid from early September until 6th October. So I am expecting the E52 to be offered in the deals starting on Wednesday this week. Here's holding thumbs :)

Received an email a few minutes (after enquiring with Vodacom) saying the following:

We have liaised with the Procurement Division and they have advised that they will be receiving stock approximately at the end of October.

No, they didn't mention pay in amounts for the Weekender, but they did say that on my package (Talk 120S) the phone would be 100% free.
That is tempting me to just be a little more patient and wait for December/January specials and I may just get the phone plus a voucher/gift and not just the phone alone.

I emailed [email protected] yesterday afternoon and got a reply at 08h21 this morning. They may have sped up the reply because I mentioned that MTN already was offering the phone and was wondering when Vodacom would too and that I needed a reply soon so I could decide on which provider to sign or resign with.
