Hi All

Hope someone has a solution to my question.

I have a nokia n70 lying around at home.

Now here is the problem with it,

It makes the start up sound when you switch it on but there is nothing that is displayed on the screen.

Is this a software problem or screen problem? I have looked nicely at the screen but there is no sign of it been cracked or anything.

anyone know what is going on?>

No nothing like that.... It was working and then all of a sudden it died. Was actually my ladies phone that she was using. and she doesnt know how to flash a phone.

The only thing I can think of apart from a dead phone, is the battery. Did you try plugging it in to a charger, wait 5 mins and then turn it on?

Try the whole Hard Reset option. With the phone off, hold down the Green (call), 3, and * buttons, then power on the phone, keep holding... You'll see formatting on the screen if all goes well.

nothing tried hard reseting but nothing and was going to swap screen with another n70 but cant find the screws anyone know where they are?
If it were just the screen, then the phone would boot up normally, play a tune and then be available for incoming calls, surely?
