Nokia N8 Test for 2 Weeks

Anyone else here that's getting a Nokia N8 to test for 2 weeks and then write a review about it?

I'm one of the lucky 60.

I've followed the Nokia N8 Competition that was going around on the net where Nokia gave away 1 N8 a week for 8 weeks. So I entered everytime and then on the blog they asked if you will be able to write a good review and why. I said why I think I'll be able to do it and now I'm getting one to test drive for 2 weeks.

If I'm one of the lucky 8 people who write the best review then I can keep it. I think it should be a nice Christmas Present.
 
Very lucky person still cant get my N8 on contract, but entered competition for one so hope i'm lucky

I saw your name on the list, im also one of the 60, (Tsepz in the list).
Have you received your unit? Got mine this morning,im actualy writting this on it right now, i got the lime green one lol, what colour did you get?
Its quite an adjustment going back to Symbian, i have a X10 ,been using it for the past 5months, N8 is taking some getting used to. Going start my review next week, there's so much to cover. :)

I haven't received mine yet. Only emailed the forms this morning. When did you send your forms? Who was the person who contacted you via e-mail?
 
Sent my forms on sunday, the guy's name is Christopher Onderstall, he's the logistics guy for all this. Hopefuly you'll get it tomorrow.
 
Ok, that's just plain ole bragging and making the rest of us plebs jealous :mad:

Jokes, enjoy. Would love to get my hands on one of those to test.....see how it compares with the 17 or so other phones that I have :o

Sorry for only replying now. Didn't have time to put it down yet. lol. It's really a awesome phone. Nokia really improved on it's Symbian OS here. The last Nokia I had was a N96. That was also a awesome phone. This is just mmmm, much better.
 
Okay, so these reviewers stand to become the proud owners of new N8 phones if they write the best reviews. Positive reviews can therefore not be trusted even if the positive comments are waranted.
 
Come-on RIM, give me a free BlackBerry Bold 9780 so that I can write rave reviews here. You can't let Nokia get away with this! LOL!

Mmmm, I see what you mean. But why would I give positive comments about a phone if I don't like it? I mean, if I don't like the phone, why would I want it anyway? I'm not a Nokia fan, I like my Blackberry, but if the N8 can convince me that it is a awesome device why not be a Nokia fan again.
 
I'll take - and use - an N8 if I can get it for free for sure ... even if it's not perfect. The N8 is a good device worth owning I'm sure.
 
Well battery life will be a big thing for me. My 5800's battery gives me very good mileage.
