Just had a chat to someone at MTN and was told that N80 will only be available beginning of Aug due to MTN's rollout plan. Can you give me an indication of how valid this info is?

Its currently being tested and it will only be available in Q3.

I think that's just a way of saying if we say in a week and a half's time it will end up being sometime in August.

I'm going according to Midrand Warehouse and I hope they are spot on.

The Nokia N80 is availible on the MTN pro 120 with Nashua Mobile and they have stock,R285.00 per month 120 min anytime. What do you guys think of this contract?

Nashua Mobile mention to me that September 1 that you can change over to different networks and keep your number ,eg if you have a Vodacom contract and you want to change to MTN, you can keep your 082, 072, etc number
Please comfirm MTN Data Dude.

My nephew got his N80 on Saturday 1/7 on an upgrade in Centurion or thereabouts - he had to pay in R300 for the phone - . Apparently the shop had a load of backorders and he managed to get one cause someone else cancelled their order. The phone is awesome and has some cool features - especially the browser has been changed quite a bit and is much more user friendly and clearer - e.g. the back button now displays postage stamp size images of your previous pages in a rotating fashion - the same as the Image Gallery.
