Nokia N80?

Where to get N80???

Anyone know who has stock of the N80 at the moment? I'm on the Westrand (Northgate, Cresta, Clearwater mall area). I wanna go with MTN so I dont have to pay anything for the phone.

I went shopping for this phone on saturday. Vodacom wants over R2k on my talk120 and MTN is giving it for R900 and something on a Mycall100. Seems poeple are getting it cheaper so I should shop around perhaps...I'll prob upgrade on my MTN contract (seeing as it's cheaper)!

I need to get it this week.
 
I borrowed one to play with:

I don't like it, but besides that the person whose one I borrowed, now reports 2 months down the line that the camera is coming loose. The SIM card is a nightmare to remove without long-nosed pliers. Also a very bulky handset.
 
How on earth would the camera come loose? O_o

So far the phone is wicked. The camera is very good (although loses out slightly due to no autofocus) and the OS is fast and very clean. Hot swapping memory cards works like a dream and up to 2gb works flawlessly.

Most importantly, I love the new snake :D

I remember you asking bout what phone to get with your upgrade. Decided against the N90?

Good to hear AT. What SP you got it with?
 
n90 was out of stock and the n80 kicks it's ass.

I'm now on mtn after having been on vodacom for quite a while. Quite frankly I don't notice any difference nor do I care :)

n80 rocks pants pretty much.

N91 now available free on Procall 120 from MTN. Much better than a N80. :cool:
 
Yeah yeah but I'm currently on the MyTalk 120 (thems that pays the bill chooses the package) so I'm happy with my n80 :D After the buggy v500 that I had it's like a dream come true.

How much did you pay in for the phone? (If you don't mind me asking)

I have a talk120 with v-com but seeing as they want R2400 to upgrade, I'm gonna upgrade on my Mycall100 (R989 for the N80).

I probably should wait, as it will be free across the board in a month or two - but what is life without impulse.
 
I payed nothing broken :) Bonus of a company cell phone. But I know another reason why we didn't go with the n90 was the R500 pay in. As far as I know we payed nothing.
 
MTN only expect you to pay in for the N80 on MyCall100.

Is N80 better than N90? What's the battery life like?
