Nokia N96...

Hi People, I've just picked up my N96 from MTn and it has software version 12.043. Is this the latest?
 
Yup. I can't recall the firmware check code right now, but you can just go Menu->Tools->Utilities->Device Manager
You can do an OTA firmware upgrade from here as well which works well (only ~5Mb last time I updated).
 
I still think the N95 8GB Black looks way sexier than a N96.

The N96 looks like a N95 that went on the pies for a week. :)

I don't know what Nokia did but I did the update on Monday. Charged my N96 Monday night. Used the phone Tuesday and when I wanted to charge it last night I saw that the battery is still full. This was odd because I have to charge my phone every night.

The battery is now on about 70%. So I'll probably get about 2 days after the update.

Hi, I just want to ask about something.

I just upgraded to 20.050 from the 10.XXX . One thing I noticed is that my photos in the photos section became blurry if the phone is in vertical position.. Are the others experiencing the same? Is there a remedy for this? :confused:
 
Version 33.030 is available for MTN N96 OTA.

Updated about a hour ago. Will let you guys know what the difference is. So far nothing new. Live TV has been removed. Maybe better because it doesn't work anyway.

Hi

Anyone else experiencing phone reboots on firmware 33.030 when using navigation with either Nokia Maps 3 or Garmin Mobile XT 5.00.50?
