You qualify for the positions as being well known consumer protectionists who are technologically savvy enough so Telkom won't be able to bamboozle you.

Hmm maybe the position does not have the same clout as a councilor but it's a way in at least, no reason why Debbie can't try for this one as well....

It is a good a stepping stone i think to eventually becoming a councillor. Hopefully our MyADSL candidates would consider this..

Based on the role, there seems to be little place for consumerism in this one.

Prime candidates seem to be folks with a strong legal background, technical background, or public policy background (ie high level civil servants).
