Has anyone had any luck in successfully porting an 087 nr since the new regulations allowing non-geographic porting kicked in?
I am trying to port from Webafrica to Vox as webafrica is extremely unreliable on 3CX and my office line is offline more often than not.
Webafrica has refused every request for vox to port "I'm sorry to hear that. Please note that if you cancel the VoiP, the number gets cancelled as well and cannot be ported as this was assigned by Webafrica. The other ISP would need to issue a new number."
CRDB lists the number in question as "Unable to obtain owner of number 087..."
Isn't the whole point of porting to allow me to move away from horrid service while keeping the number I was assigned?
