Non-proxy aware applications

We have a proxy server on our network through which we access the Internet. We also use an application that is not proxy-aware (does not have any option for specifying a proxy server), it requires a direct Internet connection. Is there any software solution for this? Note: No changes can be made on our proxy serverl. This has to be a workstation solution.

socksify. Proxy server needs to be SOCKS enabled tho.

Why can't changed be made on your Proxy? It's a central solution for a reason...why have one at all if you are going to change everything on a workstation every time.

If it's a business requirement...have the proxy changed. Simple.

Another thought, is it a linux based proxy?
The easiest thing to do would be to just setup a masquerade directly out for that workstation and port.
