Non sweet eliquids?

Hi guys, i have successfully switched to e cigs for nearly 3 weeks, and its been a life saver for me.
I ordered some crappy starter kits that were quite frankly a waste of money.
Joytech 510 smoothie(Pathetic battery), a joke to a heavy smoker, and a cheap-ass expensive double EGO-K ecig with a a jewel button that breaks in 5 days from a flea market.
I eventually found a great kit at CapeVape, the CV 2 starter kit.
As for liquids, i spent hundreds trying various attempts at smoking or distractions such as energy drink and berry.
I even bought the dragon juice brand american mix which i really do not like as its extremely sweet without that throat hit i love.
I found a liquid i love, which was the Cuban Havana at 24mg strength at Cape Vape.
Im told that liquid is now been banned because 24mg strength is illegal, so im wondering if anyone has found a great eliquid that isn't as sweet?
My dad who was a 60 a day smoker as also switched to vaping, and he would also love to know....
I am aware that its the vegetable glycerine that imparts sweetness, but has anybody found a lekker eliquid that they stick to that isnt as sweet?:)

The Turkish and Cuban from Liqua sounds interesting though.

Not sure I can help you on that. I'm smoking 0mg and quite like the sweet taste, If I can recommend, go to Vape Africa in Plattekloof, i'm sure they will help you.

Interesting.
I opted on the Greensmoke. I decided that it would just be too much of a mission to deal with atomizers and liquids and refilling and all that. With this particular e-digarette you buy a packet with 5 cartomizers. It's basically a two part setup. You pop the cartomizer out of the packet and screw it onto the battery. When it's empty, remove cartomizer, throw it away, pop out a new one, attach and smoke. No liquids, no atomizers and what have you.
Not too many flavors, but I didn't get it to smoke vanilla or strawberry or whatever. :)
I want tobacco! So I found the "Red Label" flavor, which is somewhat like Marlboro. What I also like about this Greensmoke is the awesome throat hit. I smoke the strongest concentration (2.4% nicotine by volume, which I assume is probably the equivalent of the 24mg strength you were referring to).
With the starter kit you also get two batteries, a long one and a short one. The short one lasts a day and a half where the long one can last up to two days -I guess it all depends on how much you smoke. Both should last at least a day each, though, if you're a heavy vaporer (?) :D
Been using it since beginning July and haven't looked back. I get my cartomizers at the tobacco store at the Plattekloof center -by De Kelder. (Think they're called T's Tobacco or something.)
I used to smoke about two cartons a month, so by no means a heavy smoker, but it was time to give it up.
So I didn't really have anything to add pertaining to your question, but thought I'd just put it out there...if you were ever looking for an alternative ;)

Where did you get info on 24mg being banned?
I just landed more 24mg Dekang stock yesterday. Not heard anything about it being banned.

You getting me worried now. Got a source?
