Well... truth be told, she is getting exactly what she deserves. She was a mistress to Melusi and he ditched his wife and married her. Now the dog that is Malusi is at it again, spotted another nice childless younger mistress to play with and probably marry for the 4th time... Karma is a beach isn't it?

Norma Mngoma’s arrest was an “orchestrated scheme” to bully her and “delete specific information” from her electronic devices, said the wife of former finance minister Malusi Gigaba in court papers.

Mngoma was arrested in July after damaging a Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon that was being driven by her husband — by repeatedly scratching it. There was also an allegation — leading to a charge of crimen injuria — that she had sent an insulting text message to Peterson Khanyisani Siyaya.

But, says Mngoma in court papers filed at the high court in Pretoria on Wednesday, all this was just a pretext: “The entire arrest was an orchestrated scheme to intimidate me, to bully me and ultimately to gain unlawful access to my gadgets, to delete specific information and to violate my privacy.”

She continues: “The purpose for the deletion is completely nefarious, unlawful and potentially constitutes a criminal offence. That it has been perpetrated in conjunction with the Hawks is totally unconscionable.”

She wants the court to declare her arrest unlawful, set it aside and order the Hawks to return all the information that has been deleted from her electronic devices.

Mngoma says that days before she was arrested the Hawks came to her house and took all her electronic gadgets. They said it was because of the text message she had sent to Siyaya. But when she voluntarily offered them the phone that included that particular message, they insisted that they wanted all her electronic equipment.

She battled to get the equipment back from them and when she finally did, by threatening her husband to approach the ANC’s leadership and eventually taking legal action, “what was more shocking and concerning to me was that certain information had been deleted.”

the Hawks that were involved in her arrest, Sgt Norton Ndabambi and Maj-Gen KM Mavuso, were from the Hawks’ Mpumalanga office instead of the Pretoria or Johannesburg offices where the alleged offences happened

She must be blackmailing and threatening him which is why he hasn't divorced her and set the Hawks on her. There are still lots of Zuptoids infesting the Hawks and various other institutions. All ready and willing to serve their masters' various whims like intimidating an uncooperative spouse.

There was “nothing untoward” in the arrest of Norma Mngoma, wife of former finance minister Malusi Gigaba, and no messages were deleted from her electronic devices, the Hawks said in court papers on Tuesday.

The Hawks were responding to an urgent application by Mngoma to the Pretoria high court last week to declare her arrest unlawful and to set it aside. She was arrested in July on charges of malicious injury to property and crimen injuria after allegedly extensively scratching a Mercedes-Benz G-wagon and sending an “insulting” message to a friend of her husband, Peterson Siyaya

The Pretoria Magistrates Court on Monday morning postponed the case of Norma Mngoma, the estranged wife of former Finance Minister Malusi Gigaba, following her appearance.

She was arrested in July on charges of malicious damage to property and crimen injuria relating to the damage of a Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG belonging to her Gigaba's friend.

She argued in an urgent court application that her arrest by the Hawks was an orchestrated scheme to intimidate, bully, and to gain unlawful access to her devices.
Her legal team is challenging the rationality and legality of the warrant used to arrest her.
Mngoma claims that prior to her arrest, the Hawks seized all her gadgets and then later allegedly deleted messages, images and data from them for reasons that she was yet to publicly reveal.

Ah, now I know why the hawks can't catch the Eskom, PRASA, SAA, Water dept crooks, VBS rogues etc etc. Busy chasing down an ANC flunky's wife who scratched his (no, his pal's) big black thing because he was screwing around. At least they have their priorities right hey Cyril.
