What does everyone think?

Do you prefer the 4.7" or 5.5" iPhone? Why?

Just out of interest :). Would like to see what comes of it and why people recommend the different sized iPhone over the other one.

I have a normal 6 myself and I really like it... It does feel too light though and has slipped out my pocket a few times

Having had the unfortunate chance of owning both (I originally had the 6 Plus and wrote that one off and got it replaced by an 'normal' 6S), I personally like the the plus more simply because of its battery. It easily cruised through 2 days on a charge. It sure is a little clumsy to carry around but when you have it out and busy using it, the awesome big screen is great!

My wife has had the iPhone 6 for a year and now the 6 plus ... Initially she wanted to go back to the 6 because the plus was too big. But now she won't go back to the 6. Problem is once you use a bigger phone like a 6 plus you can't use a smaller phone again. I'm sure a few can concur to this

Reasons why: bigger screen. Better battery

Have the 6S... Just came from a 5S and, for me at least, this thing is BIG. The Plus would be too much IMO. Can still reach most of the screen on the 6S, impossible in the bigger phone.

I did consider it, knowing that the bigger screen would be useful and the battery would last longer, but 4.7" is already not as portable as I'd like.

Be good to hear from people that have had both sizes and lived with either for a bit and get their views on which they prefer ... People having experienced just the one size will be biased for sure

I've very recently crossed over from the Android side of life (had a Galaxy S2,3,4&5 prior to this 6s) and must admit that this 4.7" phone is just sooooo awesome - I can use a cover and it still easily fits into work trouser pockets etc., it is just much more practical given that the iPad and laptop is there in case of requiring more screen estate.

Normal for me.

The plus is just too big and bulky for an active lifestyle. Massive bezels don't help.

Still think 5" is the sweet spot.

Actually the 6S size is the reason I started pondering the Apple side, it was either that or a Z5 compact. I've had a Z1 before and FML that size is just too unbearable.

Biased in that they can recognise that there is a compromise involved. You say biased, I say well considered choice.

How can one give an opinion about "something" they have not owned or experienced for a suitable period of time

I came from a 5s to 6splus. Adore the screen size, just really comfortable reading, browsing, watching videos. Now a 4s feels too small (dinky?)

In my case I've already experienced my pockets, and I don't have any expectation of them growing to accommodate a huge phone. So yes, I can say with certainty that I'd find the bigger screen useful, but the phone a huge nuisance to carry around.

One doesn't need to have tried something that to know it's a bad idea for them.

Have you tried using a 12 inch tablet as a phone?

My standby phone is a regular 6 and I'm strongly considering the 6 Plus as an upgrade instead of upgrading my iPad as well.

So as a 2-in-1 device I think the Plus would make sense.

Spent a little bit of time with one the other day and after my little affair with the larger Lumia over the 5S I think I could easily live with it.
