Normal vs Plus

Tough one.. battery life wise the Plus gives awesome longevity where my 5S lasted 6 hrs before needing charge.. my 6S Plus is only down to 60-70% with my insane usage (streaming music, podcast, synch, chatting, occasional hotspot, moves the battery vampire app etc) . The large screen is also decent for video watching and handling documents on the go.. where it will hurt is form factor being large and weight.

I'd say find someone with a 6S and a 6S Plus, put in your pocket walk up and down, use apps on the screen and see how it is.

An iPhone 6 Plus will be joining my iPhone 6 tomorrow and I'll provide further feedback as well as a comparison :)

How/why do you go thru phones so often...lol

Must be an expensive hobby even if you're efficient about it

Wanted to try the bigger one and my sister wanted the normal one :)

I usually just sell the old ones after their short period with me :D. Saves me some money that way

Why does a dog lick his b@lls? Because he can! :D

I have an extended family all over the age of 14, and 3 X high end contracts spaced out nicely over 2 years which means frequent upgrades and a husband who adores me, so I always have the flagship models.

We have a family business with me sitting in the office mostly, and my hubby doing real technical labour. The 6 Plus would really not suit him as he needs to climb stairs and ladders on a daily basis, and carry the phone in his pocket. I don't think anyone else in the family could/would want the Plus model as they also find it too big - never having owned one. I could never go back to a normal or smaller sized phone, but then again I get to carry mine in a handbag and because of the size, never have to 'fish for it' anymore.

Got my 6+. Busy restoring apps and all... Seems good so far! The big size is nice and the weight is better (I can actually feel it's in my pocket!). Will update further once I use it more

I'm fine with the 6s Plus after using a lumia 930 for a few months. Had I come directly from the 5s which I owned before the lumia, I most likely would've thought the Plus to be too big.

Just slightly uncomfortable to use one handed but I felt the same way about the lumia. Fits in your pocket just fine, just don't wear skinny jeans...

My girlfriend has the 6s and I find the difference in screen quality enough for me to justify the larger size.

I think the 6S Plus should have gotten multitasking like iPad Air or Air 2 has especially the slide in when in horizontal rotation.

That would again provide market differentiation between the Plus and standard device.

Yeah that would make my choice to go for one a lot easier.

It's not great to handle the Plus with one hand but other than that, it's definitely the better of the two. I've used only 20% battery since this morning!
