West Coast/Northern Suburbs - Where's Best

Hi

Due to relocate to CT in a few months and we're planning where best in the northern suburbs provides the best/fastest broadband.

Would appreciate anyone in the Blouberg area to advise the areas with the best speeds.

Many thanks.

Neil

Interesting how important good internet is such an important factor for house buying these days. Forget the big yards, open plan design and modern kitchen - gimme ny shack with my interwebs!
/subscribes...I'm actually interested

Why the Northern Suburbs, you scared of the mountain?

Durbanville is awesome ;)

EDIT: Brackenfell is also not bad, a lot of people are moving there now because of affordability.

Gee, what a wonderful welcome and deluge of helpful replies, thanks a lot.

Blah, I'm in Bfell but on the border of Durbanville. Durbanville was streaks ahead because we had VDSL (when staying in Durbanville). As of yet, "no ports available" is the ADSL excuse for Brackenfel. They promise to have coverage by April 2015 though.

Rycon digital does wireless fibre connectivity in the Kuils River and Brackenfell area and are deploying a Hi-site to cover Durbanville aswell. I take it they must be good as developers from big estates are using them.
