Nostalgia Trip to The 90's

the CPU is 33mhz does not need a Heatsink. i never knew that. jeez man did the windows OS's have to become so super resource hungry
 
Cool site. I downloaded the Netware/Win images a while ago and got them running on the Pi in a emulator. Was fun to see the snake again for NetWare.

Hehe. Memories.

Quite recently all my OS/2 diskettes were consigned to the Bit Bucket. I had 'em all, from OS/2 1.0 (16-bit without Presentation Manager) to Extended Edition 2.1 with integrated Windows - "A better DOS than DOS. A better Windows than Windows".

You can make out quite a few in this pic previously posted. Yes, every diskette is rendered inoperable. Some were prelease betas.

Would you believe me, if in our store room we still have a 8MB SIMM
We brought it because at the time it cost half a month salary and was the only thing that could run windows

50MB? That's huge!

My XT had a 10MB hard drive. Exactly this: (served me well as a doorstop years later)

I even "upgraded" the sound, by connecting an external speaker to the PC speaker :crylaugh:

When I go to bed at night, the "radiation" from the switched off PC served as a night light LOL
