Not happy with BT Games!

Deanos, despite the nature of this topic - nicely dealt with on yours/BT's behalf. "Moan gat" topics can easily make or break why people support a company when things get a little confusing, depending on the company and its reaction. Yours has been excellent, thank you!

Hehe, look at dotcomputers on the other side of the fence :D

We never broke Dot IT. He just does not deal with us peons any more. He only handles huge fortune 500 companies from his sky scraper in Boston, inbetween his private luncheons with Donald and Bill who are his close friends :D

Don't forget about the red Ferrarri!

Dean, add my thanks for taking a personal interest too. It's definitely improved my opinion of BT too.

I placed my pre-order with BT Games because I would like to support one of our few dedicated gaming stores. Anyways so I ordered GW-Nightfall and then they offer me the bonus pack for R50. Seems decent so I say go ahead. I am told because I am pre-ordering I also get R25 off the R300 retail price. I am again happy. I walk out the shop feeling happy with my purchase, game and bonus pack for R325.

I later find out that I will not have my game on release date (no reason given) and what really irritates the crap out of me is I see Digital Planet has the game and bonus pack for R233.70inc VAT.That is close on R100 difference!!!!

Screw that, BT you have now lost all future purchases from me!

No offense m8 and I'm just replying to this post, but you're the one who was stupid enough? Sure, BT Games has excellent service as I've bought most my stuff through them but don't you think it's YOUR responsibility to shop around for a product for the best possible price that suits you?

Personally I'd not even bother with DigitalPlanet because their service sucks, so paying a R100 more for something from a place that actually gives me service is a good deal imo.

Short 'n sweet of it is if you want to bitch, bitch about how they screwed you over by selling you pirated games or how the store attendee mugged you for your money, not for something as petty as this because ITS YOUR FAULT. Not theirs.

lol!!! You know, we got about 10 X-Boxes back and not 1 was opened properly! I just gotta laugh! EVERY box was ripped open!!! It seams like you guys bought the things, and opened them the second you got into the car! Like children on Christmas morning!!!

Sorry, but you just gotta laugh! It's kinda funny when you see these things! :D

Anyways, thanks for the compliment! ;) OH! And please don't break the new headset!!!
I'm treating the new headset like Gold.. I seriously have no idea what happened to it. It stopped working while it was on my head in the middle of a conversation with some guys I was playing Poker with.. and my head aint that big.. I promise.

As to the box.. I really do have a valid reason. On launch I got two Xbox's from you guys. One I bought, and the other you were so kind to give to me free in the raffle you held. Well they both came in different boxes. The free one came with a carry handle type case (and had a US plug) and the one I bought was the .. well .. the now broken box.

We went right over to a friend of mines house and I gave him the Xbox with the Carry type case as a gift.. and it opened from the TOP. At 3:00 am that night when my wife and I got home.. we tried opening the box in the exact same way... as you well know it didn't work to well. So it really wasn't my fault :D

LOL I love it, no offense but you are stupid! I am not going to continue and flame back like you probably want me to as this thread has had it's day.

Thanks for the nice compliments guys...

I do try my best!

I worked for BT northgate, was drawn in by the way they say for gamers by gamers so of course having no work at the time and little dream I signed up, got the job and a week later I was looking for work again. Point is that they were not what they said they were and in I left. Actually there really was no point in writing this but its to late now hahahahahahaha

Deanos, what's ur new boksburg branch's number????

Unfortunately, the don't have a phone line yet cause they are in the "new" section of the mall and Telkom are still busy there!!!!

If you have queries for them, drop me a line...

Once again, you gotta laugh!!!!! Telkom!!!

I wonder how many times that word appears on this forum???? :D

Oh! And sacred_sin, if I remember correctly, you couldn't handle the pressure there! That is why you only lasted a week! Sorry, but had to get my 5c worth!

You obviously were to stupid to adapt to such a demanding position. Im glad ur not working their because id probably knock ur block off if i had to be served by u.

Unfortunately, pressure is one of those things you just gotta deal with!
When you have 10 customers screaming at you from all sides and the systems go down because Telkom is working on the lines...
You have 3 phones on your ear and a cue of people waiting to purchase!

I could go on for ever trying to explain!

It's a very challenging job! Not easy being in the front line of customers all demanding stuff at the same time!

Hey, somebody has to do it! ;)
