Basically some one I know has a glandular fever with an unknown virus at this stage. It has just taken his younger brother and he is just hanging in. They sent both of their bloods to America to get tested. Basically he is all yellow and his organs all swollen :( He is on dialysis (spel?). What you rate his chances of survival is? :( How long will it take around for the results to come in? Also doctors are refusing to treat him further because they are scared of contracting the same disease :( Sorry if spelling and grammar are off just not exactly happy now.

Apparently he is going crazy saying his brother is with him and talking to him :( Just wondering how on earth they got it! The gf has not been tested yet so hopefully her senses come together

my grandpa was just admitted to hospital and they cant figure out whats wrong with him..
He is also saying wierd stuff like not knowing who i am and asking where he is and justbeing generally very confused.

My mom almost died like 2 weeks ago in hospital :(
 
not the best time to be in a hospital.
i presume they're receiving private care?
i'm surprised the doctors aren't making more of a boo-hah about it.
if the doctors are that worried about contracting it, surely they should be a bit more proactive about contacting and observing close friends / family / colleagues?
 
Any doctor who won't treat a sick patient because he/she (the doctor) is scared of contracting the illness, ought to be struck off the roll. I guess there are doctors and then doctors, but most of them would know what to do with such a sick patient!

Im sure the doctors would do something if they could :( Just they not taking the risk, I mean they also have families etc:( Just jeez,both of them are lekker people. im praying and you non believers should 2 for him:D:( His gf is going ape shiiite:(

He passed away this morning :( :( :( was his brothers 21st today (Who also passed away but last week from the same thing). Hope their parents will get through this :(

To my knowledge no. Hopefully they do fast because im worried about his gf 9which is my friends sister) and other mates :( He was only like 23/24 . Parents now have no children :(
