Note 10.1 2014 edition won't turn on.

As you can reed in the heading my Note SM-P605 won't turn on. I put it on charge last night and the battery sign come on but seemed to freeze. The little circle with the arrow in the middle of the battery wasn't moving. After a while the screen went blank.

So I left it on charge over night thinking maybe I ran the battery completely flat. This morning it will not turn on. Held the power button for a while and nothing? I have a VC sim card in and 32gb memory card.

Can anyone point me in the correct direction?
 
Try to hold down arrow(volume button), menu button and power for 10sec-15sec. Anything happen?
 
I tried "Power, volume up and volume down", Power,volume up and home", "power, volume down and home" but nothing happens.
Plugged it into my laptop and the battery icon comes on with the little arrow in the middle. But the arrow doesn't move like it should.
 
If nobody here can help you could take it to one of the Samsung speciality shops. They usually have a technical person on site.

When my old Tab 2 got stuck a few years back one of the shops wanted to send it to Samsung. Luckily I checked with the speciality store in Clearwater Mall and they sorted it by holding some (don't ask me which) buttons down.
 
Are you using the charger and cable that came with the tablet? I had this issue with my first Samsung tablet if i tried to use any other charger it wouldn't charge
 
Nothing wrong with this community, but if you need in-depth assistance with anything mobile there's no place with more knowledge than XDA. Some of those guys even put official repair center support to shame. The only issue is that the smartest guys are forever moving to the latest and greatest devices so the older stuff can end up with poor support (especially if weak) even there.
 
Connect it to a USB cable (connected to a computer) and short press the power button and see if you get any USB recognition sound from the computer. If you do, then you should be able to get lucky with ODIN. If you do not get any sound (or the USB connected balloon) then the battery inside may require a boost.
 
Again it may have hung. See if pressing and holding the power button for 8 to 10 seconds does not have any effect.
 
Don't know if you ever came right with this, but I found with mine that the charging port needed replacing, and the battery connector on the motherboard needed resoldering (twice).
It would only sometimes charge, or only charge very slowly, as well as flickering on and off with wildly jumping battery level numbers. I'm still not completely done, because, while it works fine at the moment, it only charges at about 430mA, where my phone (SGS5) charges at 1.7A on the same charger. This obviously then means it requires about 20 hours to charge fully. A problem if it's in daily use...
