Note 3 / S4 or Xperia Z1?

Yeah, throughout the whole test you're thinking, "That doesn't look too bad," until they try and switch it back on.

I'm by no means saying the Z1 is bad in any way shape or form. I'm just saying that in my experience, nine times out of ten I'm more likely to drop my phone than get it wet or dusty. That's why, for me, I'd go for the Note 3 with ADH. If the Z1 came with the same, I'd be hard pressed to choose.

Well my S2 broke in the exact same way from the video. Thought it was fine but the screen doesn't turn on. On another note I'll be trying my best to not let this phone slip from my hands.

I am back to being confused again...

Was checking out some reviews on both phones (Note 3 and Z1) on Youtube and the Note 3 seems like the better option. Guess I will have to play with both of them to actually decide.

Had a look at all 3 over the weekend and decided to get the Z1... For my wife. It feels a lot more premium than the Samsung duo and it's a beast, spec-wise.

Talk of an S5 coming early next year.
I'm due for a contract upgrade in Feb, so that may work out nicely.

Have you considered the LG G2 ?, it will be released in SA on 1st October.
