Hey people...

I've downgraded to XP and now I need drivers...

I've got the following notebook:

Acer Aspire 4315

I still need drivers for the following components:

*Ethernet Controller
*PCI

Could someone please help me I don't have a clue which drivers to download?

Download PC Wizard 2008 or if there is something newer, http://www.techsupportalert.com/node/84

Identify the chipsets you need drivers for. Go to the chipset manufacturers website and download the drivers.

I do this for all computers as I find the chipset manufacturer has more up to date drivers than those supplied by the notebook/motherboard manufacturer (which they get from the chipset manufacturer and repackage) as they eventually stop updating their drivers after a certain amount of time.

If you need a hand just post the output of PC Wizard (you can save as a text file) here and I will assist with the links.

Try, http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads...=24&Level=4&Conn=3&DownTypeID=3&GetDown=false

Tick the box and go next, I cannot give you a link beyond the acceptance page.

Btw, I recall someone battling with the same drivers just the other day. Will look for the thread. Edit: Found it, http://mybroadband.co.za/vb/showthread.php?t=164764
