Notebook LCD

Notebook LCD has persistent grey line, horizontally across the whole screen.

Seems like a row of pixels that are stuck.

LCD pixel addressing problem (hardware)?

What do you think it could be?

It's a hardware problem for sure.

One of the row drivers are either knackered, or connections between driver board and glass, or even in the glass itself. Not a whole lot you can do, really, other replace the panel.
