I am also looking for a new notebook so I checked this one out, looks god besides for:

I concur. Never had a problem of that sort before.
 
A bit expensive, IMO. After adding only the CPU, you get to R14k! And that's only a 15" WXGA screen, thus resolution is a bit low...

yep. i've got it quoted at that from a couple of sources. i think there's a mistake on comx's web form.

At least it's a proper widescreen [15.4"] not just a 15" screen.
