So I've just noticed on my notebook the top left corner is uneven with the rest of the screen.

The black line represents the "dead zone".
I have no display here however the mouse disappears. It's not too major but killing my ocd, can't even look at it anymore.

Should this be something I have to be concerned about, notebook still under warranty.

Black lines on laptop screens are usually the result of you having pressed down on the back of the screen while the laptop was closed (in this case - right on the edge on one corner). If that's the case, I don't think it'll be covered by warranty. I've written off two laptops due to screens I damaged, it's just one of those things.

So what do you guys think...
I went back to incredible corruption. They accepted the flaw. Rocks up with my new notebook, I ask to open on the spot and bam. Same issue. Seems to me either I'm full of **** about lines, or they are selling defective ideapad 510's. I then went to another store where the notebook is on display. Same thing. But I must add it's slightly smaller on other models.

South Africa is a playground for selling dumped stocks.
