Notepad that automatically saves to the cloud

I am so spoilt with Google Apps and autosave that when I revet back to legacy systems I often find myself accidentally closing a document without saving.

Is there a notepad++ /PSPPad replacement that I can use that automatically saves to the cloud. I want this to be its own app and not a browser based app.
