Neotel has embarked on its second phase of network optimisation across our national CDMA network to enhance network performance. This exercise has commenced and is intended to be completed by the end of April 2009.

Please be advised that in some instances service interruptions maybe experienced.

Neotel would like to thank our valued customers for their continued support.
 
I wonder if CDMA mobiles will hit our shores as it would be cool to work around with a cellphone, but it's all to do with ICASA I suspect lol, if it does spring to mind.

Lovely..Nice way to say..customers you wil experience frequent disconnections and very slow speeds over the next MONTH..HAHA
 
That is not the case infact this serves as advance notification that while we are working on the network, if absolutely necessary, some customers may experience interruptions.
 
aaah. this will explain why i get average speeds when i restart my device, and after a few minutes i can't surf or download!.... gotta keep restarting my device to get anywhere!... *Sigh*
 
As I said in the other thread, I also had good speeds this weekend, so +1 to you and Neotel - please let's keep it this way! I really do hope the moaning and groaning can finally stop.
 
+1 to the Neotel Rep for notifying us of this. I think this is one of many steps Neotel needs to take (and has taken) to improve their level of service.
