Now Vodacom Too

I've been experiencing an issue recently where my phone shows that I have signal, but when people try to phone me they only get voicemail, and messages aren't going through. If I restart the phone, then it is fine again. Happened about 3 times in the last week.

I've been experiencing an issue recently where my phone shows that I have signal, but when people try to phone me they only get voicemail, and messages aren't going through. If I restart the phone, then it is fine again. Happened about 3 times in the last week.

I am not sure if it is the same thing ... but I WhatsApped my sister early in the morning for her Bday a few days ago. Her last seen status was the previous day @ 17:00. That was very strange cause she is constantly on ther phone WhatsApping. I gave it 30 mininutes and then tried to phone. Straight to voicemail. Tried every 30 minutes. After a hour I was freaking out. Was about to call her bf when my phone rings. She just got a SMS saying she has a missed call and then all of a sudden all my WhatsApp messages went through also. She was in the Rivonia area .... and I see you are in Sunninghill. Wonder if its the same issue. It has not happened again. I hope it was just a temporary outage or something. She has a Iphone 5

Thanks for the feedback. I am certainly going to keep an eye on it. I am using a Galaxy S2. Have now set the network to gsm only to see if it makes a difference.
