Now Woolies is insuring groceries against theft!

I wonderwhere else in the world one needs to insure one's groceries against theft!

I'm glad the level of crime in RSA is dropping. No wonder FIFA can't sell their tickets to visitors!

Woolies is awesome! I had a suspect looking hair in one of their pies and complained, they took my details down, gave me a new pie and my money back, then a week later I get a R200 gift voucher from them!
 
I recently bought a copy of their magazine, Taste, and it contained a copy of a Jamie Oliver DVD. When I inserted it into the PC, I got this message:"Windows Media Player cannot play the DVD because the disc prohibits playback in your region of the world. You must obtain a disc that is intended for your geographic region."

Is that not a bit odd ... ???
 
I wonder what's the probability of having your groceries pinched from the boot of a car. Sounds crazy but some people out there will buy into this.
 
I've found some strange things I can claim for in my insurance policy. Like buying drinks after scoring a hole in one etc.

Yeah, that seems to be standard in insurance policies these days.

And I don't even play golf! :(

you may be confusing the corporate hospitality problems with general fan sales. the former is not doing so well, which is hardly surprising given how companies generally react on times of recession/ low economic growth. the latter is going pretty well.

I threw mine away, it's about green beans mostly.

Lol, don't worry it seems to apply to bowling too :D Another thing I rarely take part in. You have to wonder how many people had found themselves destitute after having to honour these payments before the underwriters took notice.
