Hi Guys

I have a 2 day permium ntv.mx account to test it (by the way, sky sport 2 does show all the rugby).

But for the love of me I can not get it to stream properly on XBMC without buffering. Some channels do work smoothly but most buffer from time to time.

I have a 10Mbit ADSL with an MWEB uncapped account. Is anyone else using this service successfully and on which ADSL provider's network?

You should grab those 2free Gigs from Web Africa. They have the best streaming account I have tested yet. VOX also streamings amazingly well.
 
Capped accounts will not work for me. I need an uncapped ADSL Account that actually works. The strange thing is I can stream Euronews perfectly on the MWEB ADSL account on xbmc, but the ntv.mx streaming buffers a lot. Guys MWEB just doesn't have the same International to the two different providers. *shrug*

I don't see where I recommended a capped account for your daily use. I'm currently on Web Africa Business Uncapped which performs exactly the same as their home capped accounts. Hence why I said:

That way you can see how WA is for free.
 
From the 2free Gigs I gathered it would be a capped account. Sorry my bad.

It is a capped account. If the streaming is good you can sign up for a uncapped.

MWEB is the only ISP I know that let's you trial uncapped accounts.
 
And you are 100% sure that the shaping on the capped test account the uncapped account is the same?

Let me test it and see.

I said it's the same as the business uncapped. The home uncapped is lower priority, but should still be ok after hours.
 
I was on the UK premium package for a month and gave up because of the constant buffering on all channels on a 10mb business line.

I am currently also on the UK Premium and it is not satisfactory. Also running 10mb capped account.

OP skysports 2 does not show all rugby games (assuming super15). They cover a select few. Most of the games are on their red button channel - please correct me if I am wrong, but I don't think the ntv streams that channel.
 
Also getting the bad buffering issue and this is on SD. Sigh.. When will we get a solution to our sport woes.

What channels are HD? I can't get a single one to work. Might be because I am on the trail.
 
You guys complaining about buffering never list your ISP. Some ISPs are terrible at international streaming.

Problem with NTV.
Afrihost business uncapped.
Web Africa 40gb business capped.
 
The issue is on ntv's side at the moment, not your end.

Unfortunately not. Most morning games are shown on Sky but afternoon games tend to air on Sky Sports 2 Red Button service, which is a second stream on the same channel which most streamers don't have access to, which can be very frustrating when it comes to Super Rugby...

Agree, tested on Afrihost business and Web Africa business, buffer galore.
