I haven't been on this forum very long. Neither have I posted much. Been using it more to find alternative and better solutions. But I come to 1 hick-up with this whole situation.
Which is better, nukecap or freedsl? I guess its bad of me to put them together, but from a consumer's point of view, surely I have the right to compare?
I mean, I have spoken with Clipse, the operator of nukecap, and he says the freedsl service is great, but is only going to get worse? I understand the concept of the more users, the less available speed. But surely this can't be completely true. I mean, traffic regulation and prioritization insures guaranteed and optimized connections and downloads while eliminating the possibility to consume or use up the entire service with only one user.
And at the sametime my small brain says to be vise-versa. Nukecap surely is also affected by the same principal that more users = less available bandwdith?
Which then says to me both services will get progressively worse the more users they take on surely? Its like putting a 1 lane highway in place of the N1 in JHB.
My question is, what guarantees do we have from the service providers that this will not affect thier guarantee of available bandwidth.
I mean, what have people to say about the nukecap and freedsl service. Those that have used it?
