Number porting

I need some advice asap. I have a situation where i currently have 2 contracts..one with CellC and one with MTN..the one with CellC is thankfully coming to an end at the end of April 2008. The MTN one still has over a year to go. Now the situation is that i want to end my current
CellC contract but port the 084 number to MTN, in which i want it to replace my current MTN contract number(in that way i will only have 1 number, and one contract-which i want!). is this possible??

Any advice would be appreciated.

As far as I know, this IS possible, but there is a fee charged for the service. Best to enquire at your service providers.
