Has a number range been assigned to Neotel?

Neotel will only become a reality to SA consumers once Telkom/Vodacom/MTN/Cell-C starts publishing rates to call a Neotel number.

Wonder if ICASA's going to aggressively regulate the interconnect/network termination rates the other networks can charge. Doesn't help much if its only cheap to call other Neotel subscribers.

Its going to make little sense if they dont use the same localised ranges that are currently in use - ie 021 for cpt, 031 dbn, 041 plz.

The integration between the SNO and Telkom should be seamless. We should pick our provider and that should be that.

maybe they can give all 666 ranges to telcom and give the rest neo??????

I agree! If theres too much clutter around the numberin & such issues, that mite lead to unnecessary confusion for "common man" & thats the last thing SA telecommunications needs!
