so last night driving home, i drove behind a bmw 120i convertable (also have seen 'em on all is250's) and its numberplate lights looked, for the lack of a better word, sparkling-white - almost like zenon lights....

not the yellowish light that we are used too.

...now i doubt that numberplate lights can be zenon ones, so the next light/globe that comes to mind is an led light.

so would this be an led light?

and then, can i just replace my globe with a led replacement so that my plate lights look similar

cool thx jk8. do they come in the same voltages like normal globes?

where did you buy them from? would they stock them at midas or some place similar

saw a pic of them on a ford focus now, looks pretty cool. although somewaht brighter than normal

[edit] at jk8: would it be similar than these, found on dealspot

Yip similar to those on the link. Just find the one that will fit your car.
I got mine of a friend couple months ago.
But ill find out which stores sell them.

Wait, you want your numberplate to be MORE visible?
