Does anybody know how to hold the numeric keyboard active on a Blackberry Torch? Up until a few days ago (maybe before the last software update) I could hold down the numeric key for a few seconds and the numeric keyboard would stay active until I'd finish entering all the numbers I wanted. Now you have to physically hold down the numeric key and enter the full number at the same time which is awkward. My partner has the same problem with his Torch. I have tried all the different keyboards, it doesn't help. Any suggestions?

To number lock on the torch (not sure about other blackberrirs) press "alt" then the left caps key (The key with the "aA")
press the keys one after the other and NOT togerther at once.

To Caps lock, ie typing in capitals, press alt followed by the right caps key.

Thanks but I don't have an "alt" key on any of my keyboards. On the extended keyboard I have two caps keys on either side of the space bar (next to the languages and symbol keys) and a numeric key above the left caps key . On the reduced keyboard I have the numeric key, sym key, space key and caps key.

OK well I fixed it myself lol. For those who find themselves with the same problem - When in doubt reboot!

I took out the battery while it was switched ON and after it booted up the keyboards worked like before i.e. holding down the caps key makes the text all caps and holding down the numeric key makes it all numbers. I think after the last update it needed booting. :D
